POSITION:
MEDICAL ULTRA SONOGRAPHER
JOB OVERVIEW:
Ghana Post Company Limited is looking for a person with in -depth experience in the field of Medical Ultra Sonography. The ideal candidate is expected to render services to both internal staff & external clients. Candidate should have genuine concern for patients and a passion to be of service for both internal staff and external clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: include but are not limited to the following:
- Conduct Obstetric Scans, Dopplers, Body swellings, Abdominal Scans, Pelvic Scans, Eye, thyroid, scrotal scans, prostate, and other small body scans.
- Performing sonograms and recording anatomical and physiological information correctly and accurately for interpretation by a physician.
- Explain sonographic procedures to patients, answering questions, preparing patients by applying the gel to the skin, and positioning the patients on the table.
- Ensuring clear images for diagnostic purposes and adjusting the sonographic equipment when necessary.
- Selecting the appropriate settings and adjusting the patients’ positions accordingly.
- Monitoring and caring for patients to ensure their safety and comfort during the procedures.
- Provision of quality and accurate diagnostic reports
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Degree in Medical Ultrasonography plus five years’ experience
- Familiarity with a colored ultrasound with doppler is a plus.
- Previous experience with a Vinno XI ultrasound Scanner will be an added advantage.
- Should be registered and in good standing with the Allied Health Professional Council

- A complete anatomical understanding, including correctly identifying major organs.

JOB OVERVIEW:
Ghana Post Company Limited is looking for a self-motivated communications manager with experience in handling both internal and external business communication. The ideal candidate must be eager to tackle the challenges of developing content that helps build brand recognition. The candidate should be skilled at creating content that both engages employees and keeps stakeholders informed about business decisions. The ability to communicate effectively in written and oral communications is key. The Head/ Communications will be the Company’s spokesperson.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Develop communications strategies and reconcile related marketing budgets.
• Lead the communications team to develop and implement internal and external communication strategies for the organization to ensure that consistent and positive messages define and promote our corporate identity.
• Create marketing strategies that build customer loyalty programs, brand
recognition and customer satisfaction!
• Create and manage release dates for recurring publications.
• Manage projects to ensure content is publication-ready and in by the deadline.
• Create and send out press releases for new products and services.
• Ensure to periodically measure of communication delivery methods value to
assure processes are effectual as well as cost efficient.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:
I. A first University Degree holder or its equivalence plus eight (8) years of
relevant experience pertaining to the role.
II. Master’s degree; at least 4 years of experience directly related to the duties
and responsibilities specified.
III. Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
IV. Good working relationship with media houses
SPECIFIC SKILLS/COMPETENCE:
• Must be a confident communicator and presenter
• Candidate must be a fluent communicator who can espouse the Company’s
brand architecture.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design, professional
printing/publishing skills are essential, including the ability to present
concepts verbally.
• Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills
• Superior project management and time management skills
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude
• Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital
media/social media
• Self -motivated with a positive and professional approach to
management
• Energetic, highly motivated, with an inquiring enquiring mind and passion
for excellence and innovation in pursuit of business growth and success.
• Ability to operate at different levels and to translate strategy into action.
Willing to provide hands-on support when needed.
