Job Overview
The role-holder will be driving the development agenda in the market terrain in the region, ensure customer satisfaction, maintain healthy relationships with various clients, ensure all marketing efforts and implementation fit the GPCL’s marketing plan and brand in the region.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize and coordinate all the marketing and sales activities and ensure the implementation of the marketing strategies and policies of Ghana Post.
Develop and implement the Company’s marketing plan.
Prepare and send proposals to potential customer
Design strategic regional operational plans and organizational policies to achieve the corporate mission and vision for revenue growth through profitable contracts.
Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to create awareness of the Company business activities.
Initiate the development of new products and services and hold detailed discussions with supervisors before implementation.
Manage all advertising and promotional programmes in the region.
Ensure regular visits to Ghana Post’s customers in the region to build loyalty and improve customer service satisfaction.
Support in the resolution of all customer complaints in the region
Ensure the region has adequate facilities and products at its various points to provide customer satisfaction.
Ensure the continuous monitoring and evaluation of customer relations policies in the region.
Institute systems and procedures to ensure that the public patronizes new products and services of the Company.
Review monthly sales report and submit to supervisor(s)
Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors
Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing or related field(s)
Two (2) years’ experience in Sales and Marketing activities.
A Professional Certificate from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) is an added advantage.
A Higher National Diploma in Sales, Marketing or related field with three (3) years’ relevant experience from a reputable commercial or industrial organization is a desired/added advantage.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office.
Knowledge in Product Management.
