Mr. James Kwofie is an experienced corporate leader, an entrepreneur, with over 20 years of proven success in various industries across continents. He possesses deep working knowledge in finance, human resources, entrepreneurship, and business administration.

In February 2017 following years in business consulting, Mr. James Kwofie was appointed by H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo to the office of Managing Director of Ghana Post with the mandate of revamping the Postal Service. He is also the current Chairman of the West African Postal conference.

Ghana Post has evolved under his leadership. He was crowned the Outstanding CEO of the year 2020 (public sector) by the Ghana Business Standards Awards, organised by KN Holdings.

He has occupied significant leadership roles in a number of multinational companies including serving as Human Resource Director at both British American Tobacco (West Africa Central) and Guinness Ghana Limited.

Mr. James Kwofie, an old boy of St Augustine’s College (APSU), attended the University of Kansas in the USA for his bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Baker University also in USA for his master’s in Business Administration.
